Ed Horowitz

Ed Horowitz currently serves as Chairman of EdsLink LLC and is a board member at Harmoni Towers, a Palistar portfolio company. Mr. Horowitz is also the Co-Founder and Chairman of the Board to Omnispace LLC, Senior Executive Advisor to Northrop Space and a Trustee of the New York Hall of Science.

Previously, Mr. Horowitz served as Chairman of the Board of the First Responder Network Authority (“FirstNet”), on the boards of US Space LLC and the American Management Association, on the Board of QUMU Corp, as Chairman of the Board of Fairpoint Communications, on the Boards of Globecomm Systems, Inc., iVillage, Acterna, American Reprographics, Eagle Picher, and Online Resources Corporation. He also served on the Board and as Co-CEO of Encompass Digital Media. He also served as President and CEO of SES AMERICOM and was a member of the Executive Committee of SES.

Prior to that, in 2005, Mr. Horowitz founded EdsLink LLC and served as a Strategic Advisor to Cablevision’s Rainbow DBS Satellite Company, SPARX Group and Neustar Inc. He also founded and was Chairman of e Citi, a unit of Citigroup, and served on Citigroup’s Executive, Operating and Investment Committees. He also served as SVP at Viacom Inc., Chairman and CEO of Viacom Broadcasting and the Viacom Interactive Media Group. From 1974 to 1989, Mr. Horowitz held various senior management positions at HBO. He was also a founder of Suburban Cable. In 2011, he was inducted into the Society of Satellite Professionals International Hall of Fame and has won many prestigious industry awards.

Mr. Horowitz has a BS in Physics from The City College of New York and an MBA from Columbia University.
