Vagh Bakhshyan

Vagh Bakhshyan is a Principal at Palistar Capital. Mr. Bakhshyan has over 15 years of experience in private equity and investment banking.

Prior to joining Palistar, Mr. Bakhshyan was a Director at Teachers’ Private Capital, the private equity arm of Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, where he focused on the technology and digital infrastructure sectors. During his time at TPC, Mr. Bakhshyan was involved in a number of investments, including Compass Datacenters, TierPoint, Q9 Networks, Kanetix, and Inmarsat. He also played an active role in portfolio management, including completing secondments across portfolio companies, leading value creation initiatives, and executing add-on acquisitions and refinancings.

Prior to TPC, Mr. Bakhshyan was an investment banker at CIBC World Markets and Canaccord Genuity, where he focused on M&A and restructuring mandates.

Mr. Bakhshyan graduated with high distinction from University of Toronto’s Rotman Commerce program with a Bachelor of Commerce, specializing in Finance and Economics.
